A Week in Puglia
If you’re joining us for the wedding, why not make it a holiday? Here’s a suggested one-week itinerary mixing towns, beaches, and a lot of Apulian charm.
-
Day 1 – Ostuni
Enjoy a stroll through Ostuni, the “White City,” with its whitewashed streets and amazing views.
We suggest booking a rooftop dinner, you won’t regert it!
-
Day 2 – Cisternino, Locorotondo & Alberobello
Cisternino → tiny but famous for food. Try “bombette,” grilled meat at local butcher shops or restaurants.
Locorotondo → spotless white alleys, flower balconies, perfect for gelato and photos.
Alberobello → iconic trulli houses. Busy but worth it.
-
Day 3 – Apulian Seaside + Savelletri
Morning at the sea: Torre Guaceto (nature reserve, wild & unspoiled) or Costa Merlata (rocky coves, turquoise water).
Evening in Savelletri, a seaside village. Order fresh seafood right by the water.
-
Day 4 – Lecce & Otranto
Lecce → the “Florence of the South,” full of Baroque churches, piazzas, and lively streets. Don’t miss the Basilica di Santa Croce.
Otranto → coastal town with turquoise water and a cathedral with a famous mosaic floor. Sunset here is magic.
-
Day 5 – Gallipoli
Head west to Gallipoli on the Ionian coast. The old town sits on an island linked by a bridge, full of narrow alleys, cafés, and sea views.
Spend time at nearby sandy beaches, some of the best in Puglia.
Stay for sunset, Gallipoli is magical in the evening.
-
Day 6 – Polignano a Mare & Monopoli
Polignano a Mare → cliffs, caves, and the famous Lama Monachile beach. Aperitivo with a sea view is a must. Monopoli → charming port town with a lively old center and lots of small trattorias. Perfect for dinner.
-
Day 7 – Martina Franca
Chill day in Martina Franca, a stylish Baroque town. Enjoy coffee in its main square, wander through the elegant streets, and soak in the local vibe.
Extras & Day Trips
